Fisherman's Wharf San Francisco

Fisherman's Wharf Sea Lions
Fisherman's Wharf is a fascinating combination of two worlds. You'll need to come early to see the first. This is still a working wharf, and if you come early in the morning you will see them working along "Fish Alley". Thousands of tons of seafood is caught and distributed by those who work here.

After the sun comes up, the tourists (and the ever-popular sea lions) move in. Museums like Ripley's Believe it or Not compete for tourist dollars alongside souvenir stands, seafood restaurants and seafood restaurants. This is an old-fashioned boardwalk in every sense. Famous Pier 39 seems to exist only for visitors these days. The Waterfront marketplaces of Ghirardelli Square, the Anchorage and the Cannery are nearby; as is the San Francisco Maritime Museum, home to the USS Pampanito.

It's no wonder that 9 out of 10 visitors to San Francisco include a visit to Fisherman's Wharf. This is a great place for the entire family.
