It's hard to beat the location of this hotel. World -famous Fisherman's Wharf with its many tourist attractions and the ferry to Alcatraz is only a 5-minute walk from the front door and the trendy North Point neighborhood is a short cab ride away. The hotel concierge can direct you to these points and many others, as well as recommend a restaurant and handle the reservations for you. The hotel has a large outdoor heated pool, fitness center, business center and two restaurants. Rooms are nicely decorated and have two telephones, voice mail, high speed internet, 27" televisions with premium cable channels and video games, hair dryers, large vanities, desks and alarm clocks. The neighborhood can be a bit noisy, so request an interior room. The staff is more than happy to accommodate your requests, and respond quickly to any need that you might have. There is even a full in-room dining service for those nights that you just don't feel like venturing out for dinner.
